TRIPURA ROAD TRANSPORT CORPORATION (A Government of Tripura Undertaking) have been established in the year 1969. AD under the ROAD TRANSPORT CORPORATION (RTC) Act, 1950 AD.  The main objective of this Corporation is to provided / render an efficient, economical and well co-ordinated transport facilities to the people of Tripura within the State. The Corporation (TRTC) initially started its Goods Service Transportation by utilising Automobile Truck since June 1971 AD. Subsequently to meet the growing demand of the Travelling passengers of Tripura State, TRTC had been started rendering of Domestic Passenger Bus services throughout the State of Tripura since December 1973 AD.

TRIPURA ROAD TRANSPORT CORPORATION  started  its Passenger Domestic Bus Services throughout state of Tripura almost in all the Sub-Division and District Head Quarter  except Sonamura Sub-Division including the remote & interior places.
